The Servox Inton Artificial Larynx has been a popular device for decades. This German-made, neck-type device is housed in a titanium sleeve and offers two-tone intonation. Using your thumb in a rocking motion, the device can inflect using two separate pitches that are approximately an octave apart. Adjustable, the pitch and volume can be altered to best suit the needs of men and women. The Servox Inton uses a barrel-type 7.2 volt battery and a convenient charger that allows the user to charge the battery while it’s inside the device. An added feature allows the user to charge an extra battery at the same time. The automatic charger offers indicator lights that announce the approximate charge on the battery and if the battery is in the reverse position. The head can be professionally adjusted to more readily penetrate thickened neck tissue. Can also be used with an intraoral adaptor for voicing directly in the mouth.
